Venezuela has agreed to extradite FARC leader Gentil Alvis Patino to Colombia. Patino made himself unpopular when Venezuelan police captured him while rescuing kidnap victim Maura Villarreal (mother of Venezuelan-born Detroit Tigers pitcher Ugueth Urbina). During that operation, some 1,500 pounds of cocaine was also seized. Venezuela likes to support leftist causes in Colombia, but does not like the drug and crime activities of  leftist rebel groups like FARC.
